What do the temper codes mean?
Vital lists each temper with its common name and the EN designation in brackets, for example A (TB00) for solution annealed, H (TD04) for hard drawn, AT (TF00) for solution annealed then age hardened and HT (TH04) for cold worked then age hardened. Order using the designation shown against your grade and form.
Which temper should I order?
It depends on whether the part is formed before or after age hardening. Send the part drawing and the required strength to sales@vitalmaterialgroup.com and we will confirm the temper.
Are mechanical values published per temper?
Mechanical properties are available on request from customers.
